Tokyo Game Show 2020 is Cancelled

After all the well-known gaming exhibitions' cancellations such as E3, Gamescom, GDC or Paris Games Week, it’s Tokyo’s Game Show 2020 turn to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event was expected to take place on September 24 at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, but eventually it will be held digitally. According to a statement posted on VGC, TGS said:

 Due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on a global scale and the situation remains unpredictable in Japan as well, the organizer and the co-organizers have reached his decision after a long consideration to place the utmost priority on the health and safety of visitors, exhibitors and stakeholders. We ask for your kind understanding and cooperation.

The organizers promise to announce more information in the future.
