PS4 Firmware Update 7.5

Sony launches beta-testing for the new PS4 Firmware.

Although the release date of the Playstation 5 is approaching, this does not prevent Sony from making new firmware updates for the PS4. According to some users of the console on Twitter, they have begun receiving invitations to try out the new Update 7.50 which is already available in beta. Playstation 4 has been releasing many updates since its release in 2013. Usually major updates improve security and some basic functions of the console. Sony did not go into further detail, simply saying it "improves the overall console experience and performance".
