Godfall: First Look at its Gameplay
As part of gamescom 2020's Opening Night Live, we witnessed a short teaser of a few seconds from Godfall's new gameplay video. Now, in collaboration with IGN, the Counterplay Games development team has unveiled the complete ten-minute gameplay video from the looter-slasher title, which is accompanied by an interview with the game's director, Keith Lee.
Specifically, this video focuses on the customization of the characters, through the Valorplate system. Godfall’s Valorplates draw inspiration from medieval armor and are essentially character classes. Players first start with Silvermane, which is the main Valorplate, and then have the opportunity to use a dozen others in total, including Mesa, Typhon, and Vertigo. You can watch the video in the player below for more information.
Godfall is expected to be released in the festive season of 2020 for PC and PlayStation 5 as a time exclusive.
