Cyberpunk 2077 is Back on the PS Store
"How many of the endless performance issues will we be able to say goodbye to?"
Cyberpunk 2077, the most highly-anticipated videogame of the decade, that turned out to be a huge disappointment, is back on the PlayStation Store. After 186 days of absence, Sony brings it back and CD Projekt Red seems to be honest with its fans this time. With the return of the game, the company stated that players will face performance issues, but the number will decrease over time and we will constantly witness new fixes.
Before moving on, let's all remember the cinematic trailer that led us to have a forlorn hope.
Through a tweet, PlayStation announced the return of the title to its digital store, but clarified that "Work on the PS4 version continues and many updates and fixes will be released later this year." The company proposes to play Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 Pro or PS5, in order to have the best possible performance, at least until the (countless) issues of the game are resolved.
It is not yet clear whether Sony is aiming to reach the final stage of the PS4 version, however, the CD Projekt Red is constantly confirming that the version for the latest generation consoles will receive more attention. Last week, the new Patch 1.23 added some extra features, and that lifts our spirits and makes us believe that any issues will be eventually fixed!
