Famous actor and director Andy Serkis is ready to read J.R.R. Tolkien's novel, The Hobbit, in a twelve-hour marathon. Serkis, among other things, was loved through the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings and specifically for his acting as Gollum, leaving history in cinema. So he decided to do Ho "Hobbitathon" and will not stop if he does not complete them.
Serkis opened a website asking the public for money for a good cause, as this money will be distributed to various charities. So far, of the £ 100,000 he is asking for, he has raised £ 76,000.
