Leapster2 is an educational handheld console released in 2008 by LeapFrog Enterprices as a successor to Leapster. The main difference with the original console is that with Leapster2 the user can download games and store their progress and what they have learned. This became possible with the addition of a USB Port and an SD Card slot to the console. Leapster2 discontinued in 2019, five years after Leapster.
