GP2X Caanoo is a handheld console released by GamePark Holdings in 2010 in South Korea and Europe as a successor to GP2X Wiz. GP2X Caanoo is a Linux based open source console which features support for various media types like video, audio, photos and e-books. It was originally showcased at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 but never arrived in N. America. However, it's retail price was around US$150. GP2X Caanoo isn't considered as a direct rival of Nintendo DS or PSP but more as an open source alternative. Of course it was friendly to indie developers. It's also the last console of the series. After this console GamePark Holdings focused only on software development.
