The Game Boy Pocket by Nintendo is a redesign of the original Game Boy. The main differences are: It's considerable smaller and lighter than the original console and came with an improved screen with no lags and blurs. It also consumes less power, since the origin Game Boy needs four AA batteries but Game Boy Pocket needs only two AA batteries for almost ten hours of game play. Later a LED indication was added to the units to display the battery levels after public demand.
