In 1978, Nintendo went one step further and introduced the Racing 112, a console with a built-in steering wheel and analog lever, exclusively for racing games. This is the third console of the Color TV-Game series with ¥18,000 as initial price, a price which dropped to ¥12,000 and later reduced further to ¥5,000. The console had 112 variants of the same theme. Driving on the road and avoiding obstacles viewing from above. Again, it was possible to play with two players, but this required adjusting the controls on the back of the console. Despite the special idea, sales were not satisfactory and did not exceed the 160,000 units.
