Widescreen Gizmondo is an unreleased handheld console that was supposed to be released in the second quarter of 2006 by Tiger Telematics as the successor of Gizmondo. It was supposed to be appeared at CES trade show in January of 2006, something that never happened. A few months later Tiger Telematics declared bankruptcy. It was intended to have a larger, 4 inches screen and upgrades like Wi-Fi, TV-out support, an improved 480 × 272 pixel resolution, a 2-megapixel camera, and a 500 MHz processor.

The announcement was considered a bad marketing move for Gizmondo since some of the potential customers may waited for the newer version.
