The Interton Video 2400 is another Pong based console from the famous German manufacturer. This system is like the Video 3000 system but with buttons and without the gun. It is very compact compared to the larger Video 2800 or Video 3000 systems.

It is based on the General Instruments AY-3-8500 chip. It was designed for sale all over the world, as there are no text labels but only logical illustrations. The Thomson JV1T, for example, is an example of an upgraded Video 2400 system for foreign markets.

The main feature of the system is that despite the fact that it uses a "common" chipset AY-3-8500 GI, it offers 5 games, something more than what the chip can normally do.

Another strange fact is that the sound played from a built-in speaker of the console and not the TV.
