SwanCrystal is a redesign of the WonderSwan Color console manufactured by Bandai and released only in Japan in 12 of July, 2002. The casing colors were decided by a poll in Bandai's website like WonderSwan Color and WonderSwan. The console launched in an attempt to compete with Game Boy Advance, having a better LCD screen than the original WonderSwan Color. However, even with an initial price of ¥7,800 - ¥1,000 cheaper than Game Boy Advance - the console didn't manage to succeed.
