Gamate 3D is a handheld console released by Vtech in 1983. What makes this console quite unique is that Vtech has released mostly educational consoles, but gamate 3D isn't educational. Also it's the first console that attempted to make 3D effects in the game play. The console media are cartridges and can be plugged at the top of the console where they player can actually watch what game is playing. Gamate 3D uses two AA batteries as a power source.
There are three known games, Escape, Formula 500 and Death Corridor, all released one year later for ProScreen. We know also three more game titles from the console box that hasn't been released, Viking Invasion, Flying Saucers and Bonk.
