APF Imagination Machine is a home console released by APF in November of 1979 that can be used as a computer system also. It consists of the APF Microcomputer System and a docking station with a typewriter keyboard and a tape drive.

APF Imagination Machine has a bundled APF Basic compiler, so the user can make programs in BASIC programming language. Most retailers gave instruction manuals to better use of this built-in system with APF encouraging the users to make their own games.

APF Imagination Machine gives also the ability to use a cassette drive in order to write or use a stored program or record and play audio. This feature can be used for the programmers to leave notes about their work or store instructions about the games that can be useful to the gamers before playing a game.
